Founded in 2011, Kütaş Herb Club allows farmers to be empowered and to enjoy a better income for their produce. Through education and financial support, the program teaches farmers about sustainable farming and requires them to abandon the use of pesticides in favor of good agricultural practice.
In just 7 years, 1500 farmers have joined the club, successfully embracing sustainable farming.
Kütaş Agro has become Turkey’s first sustainable and Rainforest Alliance certified organic herb producer.

With 37 ovens running on recycled stems, Kütaş Tarım has the world’s largest and most sustainable laurel leaves drying operations.
Traceability at Kütaş begins with planting of seeds and ends with the final product. Procedures for every step of production are implemented, HACCP plan is rigidly controlled by flow charts and risk analysis.
Products that have been processed at Kütaş facilities are guaranteed to meet all customer specifications and global legislations. Every step of the process and every test is recorded in real time using the SAP system, allowing document transparency throughout the value chain.
